What happens when foster budgies exchange perch naps with their foster "moms" personal budgie flock? The foster "mom" becomes their permanent mom lol. This adorable flock has officially joined Jenny's squad!

This little pumpkin eater has been adopted by Oskana and family! He is currently competing with Leo (the 2 year old green cheek conure adopted from SPR in spring 2026) for the most ideal shoulder to perch on and who can get the most snacks and head scratches. We had so many wonderful applications for Peter, and it was a very difficult choice to make.

Burt is such a special little fella, and has joined his feather-ever-family with Crystal! We hope you all enjoy your time together.

Peebs headed to his forever home with Vicki.S! He got adopted from our Pet-A-Palooza event! Whoohoo!

Our flock of female budgies went to their forever home with Bev.H! We waited months to see this day happen!

This young little lady is giving our "Forever Foster" Angel, a best friend. In the photo you can see the two of them perched and waiting patiently for their treats. Thank you Janet H. for giving our Angel a "seeing eye bird" and a companion! Duckie also enjoys sneaking into her "budgie buddies" cage, eating all of their food and playing on the homemade playground.

"chirp chirp hurray!" Smokey has spread his little cockatiel wings and joined Mark and his family's nest! Congratulations to everyone!

We weren't surprised to learn that these two lovely ladies won the heart of their foster, Stephanie! Fostering is risky! We always want to keep ALL OF THEM! (apply to foster with us at your own risk ha-ha)

We are happy to announce that this bonded pair of budgies has been adopted by Layne H! We are looking forward to getting updates about their new chapter together!

These cuties started a new life with Lisa and Leroy F! We are so happy for them!!! We hope they enjoy the feathered additions to their family!

This adoption touches our hearts a very special way! Sasha has come and gone from the rescue for about 5 years. Never having much luck being adopted by the right family... until Annette came along. Annette adopted Sasha, and they immediately formed a beautiful bond. Sasha gets daily snuggles and the freedom of a 40' sunroom to spend her days! We all miss Sasha (especially Janet, who fostered her for a very long time) but we are so incredibly happy that these two are starting their life together and giving Sasha a second, third, forth, fifth (we have lost count) chance at life.

Jasper won the lottery and was adopted by our very own president of SPR, Janet! The day he was surrendered, we knew he was never going to leave her home as they instantly bonded with one another!

Melissa and family have adopted this feathered bundle of sass! She is already living her best life, and has been renamed Mauve, Mo for short!

Angel won the heart of Kalyssa T. We are so happy for the two of you! Enjoy your time together
